Missouri
Missouri’s governor is Governor Matt Blunt. Our two senator’s are Christopher Bond and James Talent. The Missouri Abbreviation is MO. We have a lot of historical landmarks here in Missouri. For example, The Gateway to The
West, More Commonly known as the St. Louis Arch located in the St Louis, Missouri. And then there’s the Merriweather Lewis and William Clark memorial that’s a statue Sacajawea, Merriweather Lewis, and William Clark on it located In Kansas City, Missouri. Our Capitol is Jefferson City. We have six capitol buildings! They are not all in Jefferson City, though. Missouri is the birthplace of Samuel Clemens, more commonly known Mark Twain. Author of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was born here. Merriweather Lewis and William Clark took off in St. Louis in 1804.
